• Served as a team physician for home football and basketball games since 1981
• Lent services to injured student-athletes for all of Buffalo State’s varsity teams for 30 years
• Served as a mentor for the Buffalo State athletic training staff
• Earned bachelor’s degree in biology from Alfred University in 1965
• Completed medical doctorate at the University at Buffalo in 1969
• Interned at Millard Fillmore Hospital before serving as a resident in internal medicine and was promoted to chief resident
• Served as a fellow with American College of Physicians
• Ran his own private practice as a physician and worked as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine
