1985-2012
• Born in Buffalo, New York and graduated from Kenmore West High School
• Earned Bachelor’s in Business from Indiana University and Master’s from Canisius College
• Worked 27 years at Buffalo State as an athletic trainer, coach and administrator
• Coached softball from 1989 through 2012 and ranks in the Top-25 all-time among Division III coaches in victories with an overall record of 562-342-2.
• Claiming three SUNYAC titles (1996, 2000 and 2009) and made eight trips to the NCAA playoffs
• She was named SUNYAC Coach of the Year five times (1990, 1996, 2008, 2009 and 2012), an award that has since been named in her honor
• She also coached the Bengals to a pair of New York State Championships in 1992 and 1993
• Coached six All-Americans, more than 50 All-Region performers and 83 players who gained All-SUNYAC recognition
• Was inducted into the Western New York Softball Hall of Fame in 2005 and the Kenmore West Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011
• She was the 2008 recipient of the SUNYAC Award of Valor
• She was originally hired at Buffalo State as an assistant athletic trainer in 1985 and was later promoted to head athletic trainer, a position she held until 2007
• Promoted to Assistant Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator in 2009. She also spent time as the athletics department’s equipment manager, assistant softball coach and assistant soccer coach
