-Mike was a member of the only undefeated team at Buffalo State under coach Dick Heller. 

-He remained undefeated in first doubles with Roger Hauck and Warren Gassman; and had just one loss during his career at Buffalo State in singles. 

-He was SUNYAC Tournament Champion in first singles for two years.
