1947-1951 

- Hill was a member of the first athletic team from Buffalo Sate College to represent the college in a national competition. 

- During his senior year at Buffalo State, Hill captained both the Cross Country and Track teams. 

- He broke the Delaware Park course record and set a new record for the Hamilton College course. 

- Member of the Cross Country team winning the District AAU Championships in 1950 and won numerous 1 mile and .5 mile races.
